Artisans, Crafters, Entertainers and Food Vendors are invited to participate in WestFest 2011. Application information can be obtained from this website.
One of WestFest's "hidden treasures" is its annual Talent Showcase Competition. Cash prizes are awarded to winners of pre-teen, junior and senior categories. Performers ages 10 and older are invited to audition. Auditions will take place in early June. Further audition details are available by clicking on the "Talent Competition" tab on this website.
WestFest's Carnival has a variety of rides and games for kids and grown-ups alike. Great promotions and discount tickets are available on our website under the "Carnival Tab." Be sure to check it out for all of the great savings! The carnival will be open on Sunday, June 26th from Noon - 11:00 p.m.
On Friday, June 24th at 8:00 p.m. come join us as we welcome the West Valley Symphony as 70 of the most talented local musicians fill our celebration with music.
The WestFest 5K Family Fun Run is for all ages, all skill levels, and all families. For more information go to the "5K Family Fun Run" tab for registration information.
The annual WestFest Parade is a fun community event for everyone. This year's parade is set for Saturday, June 25th at 10:00 a.m. from ShopKo (4800 West 3500 South) north on 4800 West, then West along 3100 South to Centennial Park. Local bands, dance groups, businesses and community organizations are welcome to participate. Simply download a parade application from this website, fill it out and mail it in!
PETER BREINHOLT & SPECIAL GUESTS CONCERT will conclude our festival. Peter Breinholt, a Utah Favorite will take the stage at 8:00 p.m. with several surprise special guests to join him that evening. Bring your blankets and enjoy the music under the stars. It will be a concert you will not want to miss.
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND... The WestFest Fireworks Spectacular "3-D" on Saturday night at 10:00 p.m. 3-D glasses will be available on Saturday night beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the WestFest Information Booth and at all Carnival Ticket Booths (while supplies last-limit of 4 given out per person). Bring your family and friends, grab your lawn chairs, have dinner and enjoy the entertainment of WestFest.
Mark your calendars as WestFest continues our celebration as we proudly welcome the Utah Symphony again to the Utah Cultural Celebration for an amazing patriotic concert. MONDAY, JULY 11, 2011 at 8:30 p.m. The concert is free to the public.
